The noise the mess and the smiles: Insights on How to Foster Creative Courage in Primary School Students Through Making

The noise, the mess and the smiles: Insights on how to foster Creative Courage in Primary Students through Making.

In this talk, I would like to share some of the insights that I have gathered while running workshops at Singapore Schools, and with the general public over the last 5 years. I hope these insights can drive or spearhead the important conversations we need to have among the stakeholders to improve the Maker Education scene in Singapore given the different challenges and opportunities we have ahead. This talk will also give you a glance on how to manage and transform the strong emotions that can surface when kids are making and you will be able to get some tips on how to help your students when they have a creative block.

If you want to run a Maker programme at your school but you are not sure what to expect or how to even start, this talk is for you.
